I’ve always been a video guy, the man behind the camera, the one who blends into the shadows. And that isn’t changing. What is changing is the scale of what I offer, which will now include portrait and studio photography. So, if you know anyone who is graduating college, high school, or just wants to start a modeling portfolio, Lightcraft is now a potential destination.
In some ways photography is easier and in others it is harder. Video work in a wedding setting is infinitely harder in the physical exertion required to do the job, yet easier in the fact that it’s the photographer’s job to essentially direct the wedding.
No pricing plan has been worked out yet for photo, but for now, the standard video rate of $50 an hour will apply to any portrait/studio sessions. So put the word out and shout it loud!
